The Mooring Programs, Inc. has been helping men, women, and their families recover from drug and alcohol problems for over 35 years. At the core or our work is a belief in the dignity and worth of each human being. For those who demonstrate signs of substance abuse disorders, we provide a safe place to find recovery. Our goal is to promote a drug and alcohol free lifestyle which, once achieved, will unleash each person's unique human potential. While we have one common mission, we at Mooring House and Casa Clare are committed to a philosophy whereby the treatment programs and corresponding facilities for men and women remain separate and gender-specific to ensure optimal outcomes. We understand that women with children may encounter additional barriers to seeking treatment. To address this, Casa Clare provides four rooms for women and their children, along with a playground area.
