High Point's mission is to prevent and treat substance use disorders and mental illness. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. High Point Hospital has just completed its first Community Health Needs Assessment. High Point Hospital is a 72-bed psychiatric hospital located in the center of Middleborough. The hospital serves adults and adolescents, (three adult units and one adolescent unit). An outpatient clinic is located on-site as well. The hospital offers acute mental health services to stabilize patients experiencing an acute psychiatric episode or exacerbation of chronic conditions. Services include medication management, individual, group, and expressive therapies; family support, physician-led multi-disciplinary treatment team, and aftercare planning.
