The H.O.W. Foundation is a six month minimum, self-supporting, residential, in-house recovery program dedicated solely to providing adult men in the throes of addiction, the opportunity to learn and live a life free of addiction. The program is based on the �12 Steps � of Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous. Our program is physically demanding, offering the resident the opportunity to work hard and learn the life skill necessary for lasting recovery. Further, this program places emphasis on learning to become accountable for your actions and attitudes, and stop blaming others for your failures.

The H.O.W Foundation is not a certified or licensed treatment facility. We do not provide licensed or certified substance abuse counseling. We offer a residential recovery program based on: (i) the precepts of the Twelve Steps, (ii) the beneficial effects of a structured, sober living environment run by other recovering alcoholics/addicts, and (iii) the discipline that comes from performing physical work in a structured environment with other recovering addicts, through which we hope to awaken in our residents their sense of personal accountability, moral values, and self-confidence that many of us lost to our addiction.
